As everyone else has said, excellent job
with the background and composition. The dress is stunning and I love the haze
from the sun. Fewer feathers will make the wall less crowded but it's nice as
is. Only one thing is bothersome: No one really stands on flat ground at that
angle. If the whole background was rotated to the same angle as the girl it'd
feel more realistic. Nonetheless, a fav for all your hard work
Wow that didn't take long for this scan to come here. The original scan is mine
that I submitted to AnimePaper. It is by artist Rei from her doujin
Recollection. Her website is here if
you're interested.
Wow, love what you did with the scan
Akira-san! The purple does indeed add an "unholy" feel to the wall and
makes it very unique. The eclipse looks nice and balances with the fire well. I
see you've been working on the typography a bit more - great job, love the
little sun. As always keep up the great work, and if you want more scans, just
ask.
Nice wallpaper. The blue adds a great calm feeling to the wallpaper, though the
extraction of the character could be better. Glad someone found use of my scans.
The details in this piece are exceptionally amazing. The city is simply stunning
- awesome job on that. I love how you
created the moon's reflection on a few buildings in the city. That really
emphasizes the realism feel. Great character extraction and blending. The sky is
beautiful as well - the little stars are a great added detail as well as the
interesting perspective. The moon seems to fit ok. +fav
This is artwork by Hikaru Mizusawa from her doujin Rainbow Fragments. Great
wallpaper I love how you extended the dark atmosphere. Awesome work
reconstructing the scan as well, though I wish it was a higher resolution.
Beautiful semanga! I simply love the bright bold colors of the girl's kimono and
the calm cool refreshing tone of the background. And the swans are a marvelous
touch - they add elegance as well as emphasize the calm feeling. It looks as if
you didn't extract a section of the scan though (there's a section at the bottom
that says 'Tony' on it). Amazing wallpapers as always though. +fav
I actually have the doujinshi that image came from. The title of the piece is
"A Precious Place" by artist Nari/aPoL. The image is very lovely and
portrays a mixture of sadness and reminiscing.
She is from a game called White Clarity. The drawing is good, though her arm
gets a bit thin below the elbow. Her eyes also need a bit of work. They don't
seem to have any life to them. The hair is good though.
Um, that "scan" you got the girl from was actually my WALLPAPER. I put those wings on the girl
myself. Please do not edit my wallpapers
I have said this many times to people both on MT and via my website. http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/143020/
Emma this wallpaper is absolutely stunning! The details on this wallpaper are
what first captured my attention.
The rocks, bridge, brook, grass blades, and caribou are PERFECT! Love the colors
of the sky as well. It really brings out the warmth and balances well with the
characters' outfits.
The trees on the right side look fine to me, though the ones on the left seem a
bit too dark for the tone of the wallpaper. They give great perspective though.
The snow beneath them also needs more shading since it is a hillside and the sun
is setting on the opposite side. I'd also love to see some caribou hoofprints as
well, but then again I love details to death. I'd
have to agree with Sumomo that this is definitely your best work. Your patience
with it really shows!
And I know exactly what you mean about the weather... I'm so ready to move out
of New England.
Amazing detail! The hard work you put into the vectors really pays off. I simply
love the pink flowers on her kimono. The beaded curtain is an especially nice
touch as well as her eyeshadow and lipstick.
Now for the crit: I do agree with KisekiAeon that the title is a bit
distracting. Also, the right heel of her shoe is missing its 3rd dimension. It
looks a bit flat right now and I did check to make sure it was on the original
scan. This is a fantastic high quality wallpaper and definitely deserves to be
highlighted. And yes, of course the banana: Last night I slipped on a banana
peel and fell on top of my tripod baby.
Loved the scan and love your wallpaper. Great contrast and scene. Looks like you
forgot to extract a piece of the scan between his hair and his cloak though.

Gorgeous! The pose is lovely and I love how the blue wings compliment her red dress. *looks through gallery*

Love the moon as well. Wonderful work your vectors are truly inspiring! +fav
Long bishi hair and wings...
Love
the purple eyes as well. Amazing scan as always!
Lovely scan - love the vibrance of the red. I believe this character is supposed to be Yoko from The Twelve Kingdoms aka Juuni Kokki.
So beautiful. I love the enchanting mood of this piece. Great find!

So adorable! This scan is such a great find Mya! I hope someone will know who the artist is. ^_^

Beautiful picture! Her right arm is quite interesting. I'd love to see more by this artist if you don't mind.

She is the girl I used on my wallpaper, The World Beyond:

A truly lovely scan. She has a great pose and expression, though I do wish her feet were in the image. Thanks for scanning this in.
