Just letting everyone know, I have cleaned my old wallpapers off of MT,
including a couple SP walls. If anyone wants to view them, they are still

I just got in my two new doujinshi, so yes, that means more scans with wings!

I was just playing around in Photoshop and found a way to create nice wings from
scratch. I used CS but it may work in earlier versions. An example of it in use
is below.
Of course, the fill opacity can be adjusted to your preference, used with a
gradient mask, or done away with completely. I will create a tutorial for my
wings soon and post it here once it is done.

I agree with crapmonster. Either trace the outline of the line, or buy a nice
drawing tablet since they are pressure sensitive - such as this
one. I only linked to that specific tablet because I had it bookmarked (it's the
one I want).

for wings. Hmm... angel images... well I have way too many, but here is a recent acquisition, scanned from my
Hikaru Mizusawa book Sevenfold. I love the unique style.

A wall I greatly admire is Midnight Mission by Furikuu.
One thing I love about this wallpaper is the lack of obvious Photoshop filters -
the simplicity of this wall is what ties the whole thing together. The image is
crisp and clutterfree along with superb photo manipulation and ambience. And
sign me up for this group! Thanks to all who voted for my Dream Fragments
wallpaper! *blushes*
Hi kaylamew! Yeah SP is underappreciated which is one of the reasons I made this
group. I also scanned in a many pics as I could find for MT. Oh! Actually, I
forgot one. Hmm.... note to self: add new SP pic.
I'd love to see some wallpapers of yours when you have the time. Must expand the
SP section of Minitokyo! Lol! The banner image is from a Japanese fansite I
found years ago. Unfortunately the artist took his site down but the images are
still on another SP site. I can give you the link if you'd like. ^_^
kai81220: I do vectoring the hard way... if there is a shortcut then I don't
know about it. ^^; That's why most of my vectors take about a week to complete.
For the thin lines on my vectors (such as the one above) I just change the
stroke to .5 although I eventually want to try .25 and see how that looks. ^_^
lunar-angel: Hmmm... interesting thought. I'm not sure though... maybe if it was
longer the story would've dragged on and wouldn't have been as good. Although
I'd take more Gram anyday! Anyone
